RJ DJ & Party Service was started in October of 2002, by Ryan McGrail and Jason McGrail. The two brothers had been volunteering at the local park district helping to plan, organize, and run the teen dances. On several occasions they had provided lights for Dance Contests and loaned the DJ music to play when he did not have it and they did.

Neither brother remembers the exact details of the night back in 2002 but they remember covering for a DJ who did not show up. Playing music off two boom boxes and using the overhead PA microphone to play music for the event. Leaving that night the staff from the park district had mentioned that
they had done an awesome job and that if we were DJs they would hire them for the rest of the year.

RJ DJ & Party Service has grown since 2002, Ryan purchased the second half of the company from his brother Jason who still works part time for the company. Ryan has expanded the company into Party Rentals, Game Shows, Karaoke, Fundraising, and several other entertainment options.

In 2009, RJ DJ & Party Service adopted the slogan “If It’s Entertaining… We’ve Got It” and has been keeping true to our slogan.

RJ DJ & Party Service began in the South Suburb of Chicago called Oak Forest, and we are proud to still be based in Oak Forest today. Currently we service the entire Chicagoland, Rockford, and Bloomington/Normal areas, as well as traveling NATIONWIDE for larger events.

The phenomenon known as RJ DJ is providing entertainment to thousands of patrons each month, from residential parties and local banquet halls, to corporate picnics and huge festivals, RJ DJ is catching on.

The RJ DJ & Party Service staff is honored to produce several thousand events yearly, providing attention to detail and devoted energy for making every event an outstanding success. Our joy in entertaining has not diminished with time, but continues to increase with every happy moment
we provide for our clients.
